As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."RiskIncorrectly adjusted headlights can reduce the visibility of oncoming traffic, increasing the risk of a crash.FixDealers will update the software to deactivate the headlight functions for Tourist Mode and the Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS), free of charge.
